The conference will start with the Welcome Reception and Registration on Wednesday, 9 October 2019, followed by two full days of sessions - Thursday and Friday, 10-11 October.
The scientific program will include plenary (40 min) and regular (20 min) oral presentations as well as two poster sessions on Thursday and Friday. On Thursday evening, there will be a gala dinner.

The scientific program will include plenary (40 min) and regular (20 min) oral presentations, including questions. The format of presentation is 16/9.
Poster stand dimensions will be 200 cm in height and 100 cm in width. We recommend to use A0 size (1189 mm x 841 mm) and portrait layout. The poster should include a title, as well as the name and affiliation of the authors. Please, bear in mind that the illustrations and text must be legible from a distance of at least 2 meters. The adhesive tape will be provided on-site.
Wednesday, 9 October 2019 – Welcome reception and Registration
The Welcome Reception will be held at one of the Libraries of the University of Latvia, at Library at the Kalpaka Boulevard.
Address: 4 Kalpaka Boulevard, Riga LV-1050. The event will take place on the 1st floor.
The building in Riga at 4 Kalpaks Boulevard, located in heart of Riga's center, in the original building of the mayor of Riga Ludwig Wilhelm Kerkovius. The project of the building dated back in 1874, but the construction completed in 1878. Latvian architect Janis Fridrihs Baumanis designed it as a private mansion for Ludwig Wilhelm Kerkovius and his family. Kerkovius himself actively worked in politics was also the city councilor, mayor assistant and fulfilled the duties of the mayor of Riga from 1890 to 1901.
Thursday, 10 October 2019 – Conference Gala dinner
The GCNPM 2019 Gala dinner will be held at Aldaris beer museum, which is the most up-to-date beer museum in the Baltics and the first one in Latvia. The interior of the museum accentuates its cultural heritage, the highlight being the authentic brewing hall, kept untouched since 1938.
The event will take place in the upper level of the Beer Museum, just above the brewery, with a very special atmosphere. The GCNPM 2019 participants will have a chance to enjoy and experience “behind the scenes” look at the brewing process, as well as sense the unique brewery aroma. In additions, the participants of GCNPM 2019 will have the opportunity to learn secrets about the beer brewing process from our beers sommelier and to try a beer that we proudly brew here!
The bus will be provided from the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa hotel to the Gala dinner location. After the Gala dinner, there will be a bus taking GCNPM 2019 participants back to the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa hotel.
